The progression of my skill set is to dive into active portraiture. Below are some photos of daily fun quick shots. Very little thought went into the composition, but they turned out really well!!
As I grow as a photographer I have been self-teaching Adobe Lightroom. The pictures attached are several shots with different exposures (I adjusted shutter speed and aperture- each photo has 3 or more photos merged) "merged" to create a complete look. The originals were dull and with little contrast. The final images seem to "POP"...
Went a bit late to go hiking. Park closes at 10pm and sunset was 836pm. We got there in time to be deep in the woods as sun set, but not far enough in to hit the ridge line for good photos. Last minute hike idea led to a good walk but not the best photo opportunities. Still had fun!! This photo is a nest of spiders. Look closely...
Working last night to capture sunset from a hilltop in the small town of Cibolo, TX. Clouds blew in and bogged up the composition. I still took a ton of photos. I am working through the best ones and editing them. The one below I plan to use in a Photoshop print incorporating a total of 3 photos. The sunset is gonna be the base and I will bring into the photo the other two in a subdued manner as if shining through the clouds. Stay tuned for my first big Photoshop workup.
