Enchanted Rock for a quick hike turned into... we kinda' got lost?

So the sis' and I decided to go for a hike at Enchanted Rock. We thought we would take a simple flat path. Ended up chasing a turtle, cause I wanted an up-close "Macro" photo. After jumping into the river and climbing through the bushes we lost the turtle. I never even got a picture. What we did end up doing is loosing the trail and busting brush to find it again. It did extend our short jaunt into a 4hr hike through the rocky embankments and after up and down and up again we came out on a ledge. We decided to take the plunge and go down... We survived!!
